They do ride different, the springer front isnt as smooth as the typical front and will occasionally get the pogo effect. Not bad, i would do the swap in a heartbeat. There are different shocks that you can put on the front to kill off the pogo effect. Good luck

Dude wtf are you talking about? You must be smoking some bad chit. A springer has a way smoother ride and I've never gotten a pogo effect.
Ok, so the springer is the ****. Sorry I didn't do it from the start. The wife was trying to convince me from the start but the dealer talked me out of it. Should have listened to the old lady....
Now I will need to most likely replace my drag bars as well. And I just ran new bars with internal harness. The life of a biker I guess...
Ive ridden a few different styles of bikes from sportbikes to cruisers to baggers and honestly my springer is definately the best and most comfortable for me. And I've never had the pogo effect with my bike... maybe on an old *** springer model but nothing newer from HD.
