Front master cylinder leak?

Front master cylinder leak?

I noticed today that there is a little brake fluid on the out side of my Master cylinder .Just a bunch of splashed fluid like if it was drizzling outside .I tightened the two screws a little bit but it keeps happening .I don't want to over tighten it .any ideas It is on my 2007 Deluxe and I had the chrome master put on 6,000 miles ago

If you are getting seepage between the lid and master cylinder then you probably need a new master cylinder lid and gasket.

On my 07 Road king I changed oput the gasket. On my 09 deluxe I just tightened the cover screws. Keep watch, tighten as necessary!

On my 09, had the same, noticed the seal bulging where the screws are. Took it off, cleaned cap, seal and top master cylinder thoroughly with brake cleaner, re-assembled and tightened screws until the seal just started bulging. No more leaking.
