If you get the chance, go to the store and get the October issue of American Iron, they have a story about the new SE Springer. Pretty good story with a few pics also. Maybe it will be of interest to ya.
I got the blue on blue about a week ago. She is one sweet ride. The paint is absolutely beautiful. The rear fender looks sick with the fatty and the LED light. Just a dream bike sitting in my garage. I will try and get some picks soon (working too damn much lately). My only complaints about the bike--too quiet, silver coated front and rear brakes, and annoying as hell galvenized or something bolts all around. I dont get that one bit, put on a chrome fender strut with ugly grey bolts. By the way, those ugly fender strut bolts can be replaced with chrome ones for $39.95 from Harley, but u will need two sets of these because two of the bolts are too long and will rub on the fatty----ha the jokes on us. The seat is not bad but a solo would look so much better.
I just got me one of these Bad Boy SE Springers also....A blue one. Anyway, I have the same complaint as you about the exhaust being way too quiet. Have you come up with a good replacement muffler that can be used without having to do anything else to the bike?
