Default crossbones detachable windshield removal

Just installed the detachable windshield on the 09 crossbones and it seems awfully easy to remove it. It is so easy to remove that I'm questioning the installation.

If I am sitting on the bike, I'm able to push the windshield off without doing anything with the clips. Is this normal?

Yup. Mine will pop off with just a little forward pressure. Never been a problem. I always check to make sure that it is seated in all four grommets though. Sometimes one will not pop in when I install the shield.

I guess it doesn't matter because it's pressure from the back. Thanks for the reply!

Make sure that the wire clips are "locked" in place...this should make it a little more secure.
