Default Another riser question, Springer specific

OK, I know there is an adapter plate for using standard bars and whatnot on a Springer, but isn't there a stud adapter that allows you to bolt up regular risers to a springer front end? I have seen some, but they say they are for the older HD springers. I have not seen any that say they are for the Crossbones. I ask because I would like taller bars, but shorter risers. I have the stockers that were on my old Road King that I could get powdercoated. I figured that using those, getting them PCed, getting the studs, and even some goodentite bushings would be cheaper than many of the risers I have seen. Again, I intend to keep the 4.5" spacing, just curious as to what's out there for regular risers

What did that do with your bushings? Do you still use springer bushings or regular ones?

Bushings?
don't need to freaking bushings!
the large end threads into the trees.... then you thread the new risers onto the small end...
the RSD risers don't have any bushings... just a nice solid mount...
I was thinking about using a few rubber washers in between the risers and mounts...
but IMO none are needed

How does that effect the length of risers that can be used? The ones I have here are real short.....
