Default Brake Fluid On Master Cylinder

Just noticed this morning that the black paint on the brake master cylinder is bubbled up. Must of happened when I last checked the fluid level a few months ago, and a few drops seeped out.
Any tips on how to remove the bubbling paint from the master cylinder?? Type of paint?

just get a new cover from your local stealer. They are cheap and not worth the trouble of stipping and repainting.

at least imho

I wish it was the cover, it's the actual Master Cylinder. Paint is bubbling right underneath the cover.

Just got home from Sturgis , and mine has done the same except I think my gasket started leaking it bubbled the paint pretty bad even around the base where the mirror fastens on, I bought a whole new master cylinder complete, even has a new brake lever on it only 100.00 dollars and change.

The gasket will usually leak when the top is on too tight.
