Default Removing Reflectors

Saw on another thread about removing reflectors. Never really thought about it but they are a PIA when taking pics. Is there a technique about it w/o messing up the legs? Also, what do you use to remove all the glue?

TIA

There are several threads on this, but basically it comes down to fishing line, WD40 or some other solvent and some elbow grease.

Heat apparently helps too, although I didn't use it myself.

I just used heat and a piece of wood to protect the finish and as a fulcrum. A large common screwdriver as pry tool. They came off with no problem and I used alcohol to cleanup prior to waxing.

Use a heat gun get it warm then take fishing line, comes right off, use wd40 for glue left behind.

I used the ols blow dryer let it get nice and hot and a rag and flat heat the hotter it gets the less gunk it leaves behind. Same for the rear fender and tank decal

Used a guitar plectrum to score around the reflector, and they just fell off
Regular Lighter fluid takes off all the sticky stuff

I know this has been answered numerous times on here. I live in Thailand so I am limited in what supplies I can get. First I put it in the sun for about 20 minutes then use dental floss to remove the reflectors. I then put lighter fluid on a rag and rubbed the rubber and adhesive off. Over all about 5 minutes.
