looking for some more black, but still want a balance of black and chrome, next phase is going to include black hi temp p/c of exhaust heat shields up to the muffler, black engine guard, mirrors, levers ,front windshield trim and motherwell matte black solo fender rack, thinking that should strike a good balance, any opinions appreciated, thanks
Your bike looks real clean... When I started changing things to black on my bike, the biggest obstacle was that my front end was all chromed out, just as yours is. I ended up powder coating the front end and it seemed, in my opinion to balance the bike out. Just my opinion. Whatever you end up doing, I'm sure its gonna turn out awesome looking... Good Luck
I think it depends what you're trying to accomplish. Trying to make your scoot lower maintenance? More manly? Just like the blacked-out look? I just changed out my tires for blackwalls. I think it accomplished all three.
I'd do the front end lowers and cans, do the rr fender struts, luggage rack, and complete it with the black engine kit. Hey, that is what I'm considering.....

Black walls = more manly?
White walls = less manly?
Please elaborate?
I think black aux lamps with the chrome headlight might look stellar and what about powder coating the heat shields and leaving the pipes chrome, so the tips are still chrome?
