Default True Duals (pics)

First off, thanks to Drew at Dr. V-Twin for taking care of me. Another satisfied customer.

Bike: 2010 Heritage Softail Classic
Pipes: Samson True Duals, Longtails 28.5" Mufflers

Ordered the pipes over the weekend, shipped on Wed (due to holiday) received Thursday evening via FedEx. I had the stock exhaust removed and was standing in the driveway waiting when FedEx arrived. Got the right side installed last night. Finished up the left side after work today. Just took a little ride (about 30 miles) and everything sounds and looks good. Not too loud at idle but sounds great when on the throttle. No popping or anything crazy on decel. Intake and computer are stock (for now).

More pics to follow.

Thanks
I was just about to buy the FatCat but like the look of the duals better.

Either way, can't go wrong.

Nice! Enjoy those pipes. That pic from behind the bike is sick.

There are a few pieces to put together. If you ever have to do it again it will be much easier.

Freefall, Looks good, very good. I take it you eliminated the CAT converter with the Samsons, what about the sensors in the original pipes? I have the exact same bike and would love to put those pipes on if I can do it without remapping or adding a controller. Is that what you did? Thanks for the advice.

Excellent choice. Looks really nice! And it looks like the bags will fit back on without interference. Really nice bike.
