The duals are a great option, MOCO should offer them from the factory. I did the shorter turn signal rear stalk since I ride mostly without saddlebags. I also did a hi-flo air cleaner kit with HD's stage 1 download, she runs great. Here's mine with V&H true duals, gotta like the retro look....
what is that little rack you have on instead of the pillion seat?
and what turn signal kit are you using?
with v&h duals the pipe is flattened out on the rear cylinder to get past the seat post/coil mount correct .so isnt that killing power..i want true duals but i want a full size pipe in there ..so if i relocate the coil so it isnt getting all the heat from the pipe there should be room for regular pipe .question is can that section be swapped out for a round one or is it pretty much what ya see is what ya get .?
thanks
Wow man! Those look great on your bike...I'm thinking about doing the same thing, but not completely sure. Right now I've got Rush 1.75 slipons, but the Samsons have always been in the back of my mind. Where did you order them from and are you still happy with them?
Happy so far. I gonna have one of my buddies ride it so I can hear what it sounds like.

It's a Motherwell (or similar - there are copies) rack. I have the same one on my Deluxe and love it. Holds my roll bag or whatever else needs to be strapped down since my saddlebags bags are relatively small. It comes off in a few seconds, although I hardly take it off now, and serves as a great place to mount my flag.
BTW, that left side pipe is challenging to say the least...
Yeah, no doubt about that...getting it to fit snug and that collar down on the flange....and then getting a socket on the inside bolt....this was the hardest part of the installation. Everything else was cake.

The Samson kit comes with a new coil bracket to replace that stock one that's in the way. This new one is flat and hugs the oil can so you have room to fit the full size round pipe. Can't comment on the V&H kit, but if it doesn't have this and has a restricted pipe, I wouldn't buy it.

You can see the rear pipe in the pic I posted with all the parts layed out.
It is round.
