Default softail tank interchange?
I'm putting a set of tin's together for paint I have the front and rear fender now I just need a tank. What tanks from what models will fit my 05 softail fxsti? there are a bunch on ebay but I'm not sure witch ones will fit. Thanks

I'm pretty sure it's 2000-2006 fuel injected tanks will fit your bike. I'm looking for the exact same thing except I need a tank from a carbed bike.

and 07-present should also fit...hd has changed the way the fuel gauge float mounts between years, but this don't not matter in your case cause the float on the 05 is held to the fuel pump bracket
