there is a guy semi-local to me that sells taiwan ted stuff. the pricing is enticing. his ebay store is something like samspowersport1.com or sampowersports1.com.
i see he has dual stretched tanks. Can u fit just the one? i'm positive you can!
Oh yes I've seen the sampowersports guy on eBay...
I've actually found another one I like from.drag specialties. Has a smooth top so I'd need to relocate the ignition and Speedo if I went down that route.
I'm.told I'll also need a stock petcock from a 1996 softail as the smooth tank won't work with my 97 otherwise
Any idea if it was pretty straight forward? Thanks
I have used them...pretty much a bolt on. Some seats will not work and/ or look like crap with them...those don't say how much they were stretched...some of the longer ones require custom seats. Mine rubbed my legs...had to get used to them.

Thanks Tom. Just what I was looking for. What ones or.length would you reccommend. I'm guessing a 2 inch stretch would be ok?

Will.a 4 in stretch require a.custom.seat?
Lastly, any more.pictures? Thanks
A 2 inch will be easier to find a seat for than a 4, but there are no hard and fast rules...too many seats...too many tanks. There are also tanks that are made stretched, and those with weld on extensions...the ones that are made that way look better IMO.
