Default Forward Controls

I know it's a matter of choice and size but in general does it make sense to put FC on a Fatboy? It would seem safer to me being able to use the pegs in an emergency stop.

Never had forwards on my HD but on my Intruder I had some. They where comfortable when I moved the bars to the right spot but they're not for everyone. I would try a bike out with forwards and see if you feel comfortable. I always wanted to put my feet back where the mid controls where and it was weird at first going from the pegs to putting your feet down and sitting back up straight.

Never really changed much else except I never did grind the pegs that much anymore after that. Long rides might suck as well with small pegs and not boards.

I switched to forwards on my Crossbones. I have no regrets at all. I do not miss the boards at all. I am a lot more comfortable with the forawrds.

Hmmm...you learn something every day. I always thought that anything you rested your foot on in the forward position, including floorboards, were part of the "forward controls".
