I use the silicon car dasboard cleaner. It's the same stuff as S100 at a fraction of the cost.

s100..engine brightener water n dirt beads right off

People...its a motorcycle engine, not a diamond. I scrub with Costco orange hand cleaner and a nylon brush with the engine hot and it looks new in like 2 minutes. Also, carb cleaner. Magic.
