Not tryin' to highjack but...
been thinkin' about the CD but isn't it a pain in the butt draggin' the computer out to the garage and tryin' not to get grease on the keys?
My bike's pretty clean but I still have dirty fingerprints on the book.
Is the CD easier to navigate than the book?
Same info or better?

Not sure if you guys are aware of it or not, but Harley Davidson in its infinite wisdom has decided that they will not publish their manuals on CD's and will legally prosecute anyone and everyone they can identify who sells, buys, or advertises them.

In their eye's that's stolen property and they take that kind of thing VERY seriously.

So we have a policy here that states HDF will not in anyway shape manor or form allow any discussions of CD, or any other kind of manuals not published by the MOCO.

We don't want their legal department to have any excuse to come after us for any reason.

So just get the book either from your local dealer or one of the on line retailers and be done with it, besides the damn thing is worth every penny if you have any plans for doing your own maintenance.

PS this thread is now closed and no further discussion on the subject will be permitted.
