So called harley headquarters to get a letter of compliance to get my bike down across the border into the usa form canada. The guy on the phone says in 5 to 7 days you will have letter saying its all good for you bike to be in the usa. I bought a miles spedo cause mover said makes it easier ok. Ordered moving truck bought plane tickets for myself and wife 2 kids 2 cats and dog got them ok. Yesterday moving truck shows up starts packing no letter for bike call harley in wis. they say it takes 6 to 10 business days to process then mail to canada. All they can say is SORRY if youve been misinformed. Coulndt fast track letter or fax to mover because wasnt on form. f*ck me what a bunck of c*ck suckers tell some who organizes a move of over 2000 miles and now have to leave bike up here. I go to local harley dealer and ask if i drop my bike off can you ship to usa. NOPE to much hassle. I do solemly swear to never ever spend one facking dollar in a hd dealership again. Thats some sweet service isnt it. I have a year round riding season and now bike is sitting till next year when i can come and get it. Thanks for letting me vent cause wife doesnt understand my pain.

Where you moving to? I'm sure that there are a few guys on here with passports that wouldn't mind a little road trip.

YOU ARE JUST VISITING!!!!!! When I moved to Toronto from the USA for 5 years I was always VISITING and it was no big deal. I did get dual citizenship but remember "JUST VISITING and you are home free. Do NOT do it with a moving truck full of stuff though. Just ride/trailer it over. Good luck.
