I'd be damned if I'd let my bike sit a whole year that far away from me. Red Deer to USA isn't that long a ride. Throw a leg over that saddle and ride that bike over the border!
I would be happy to fly up to Canada and ride your bike down here! I gots me a passport and all! Just say the word lol! You pay for gas, food, maintenance (I would most likely ride the dog **** out of it lol!) and lodging. Sound like a deal?
On a serious note, I dont see what the hassle would be if you are not going to be here on a permanent basis? I didnt have to change anything on mine when I rode "into" Canada.
