I have the Mustang 17.5" super wide touring solo seat with removable backrest. ($500 seat!) Now, I do not have a bad back but I NEVER EVER use the backrest. If buying again, I would buy without as it's a $200 upgrade. I've tried it a number of times and it's just not comfortable for me. JMHO

Love mine and it looks great setup solo. Kick back, feet on highway pegs, and ride all day.

Not sure why but they hurt my lower back Tried a Firehousecustoms fixed model and when that caused me low back pain I tried the adjustable Mustang. Same thing.

But seems for the vast majority they work great.

They might work, but they look terrible. So I will just have to say El Paso on this one......

I like mine when highway humping on long days. I don't care for it when doing the twisty thing. The mustang version is on and off so quick I just switch it out when the urge hits.

I have had them on my last 3 bikes (all Mustang) and absolutely loved them. I do remove it when riding around town, but for the long haul, nothing better.
