Its a bitch having the money and nothing to buy. If I didnt have the money there would something real nice. We will see. Going down south, Saturday,to look at a 07 Deuce with 2,900 miles.
Black one seems to have the most add ons, but if i were you id look for an 07 to get the bigger motor and the 6speed trans. Just remember all the extras with a bike add up to money you dont have to take out of your own wallet, seats, exhaust, all those things are very pricy to buy yourself. But when it all comes down to it if you dont get the bike you really want, you'll always wish you had!
The black one, green is unlucky I have heard that from old timers. The blue one is plain ugly. Don't worry about the miles and the 88 is a great engine.
I would look at an 07.....has 96in motor and 6 speed.....that is the reason
I bought one in 07
I agree on the 07 if affordable. I got the 07 NT because of the balanced motor and the six speed. Changed the front pulley and geared down so sixth is usable under 70. Just my opinion which is worth what I charged you for it. Enjoy the hunt and purchase either way.
Question:
I have the opportunity to buy a 2006 Thunder Mountain Keystone with 2700miles for $16K. It has the twisted forks, 300 tire, and is spotless. KBB shows trade in at $18K and retail at $22K
Or I found that 07 Deuce with 3000 miles at $12K
List of add ons
> 06 Softail Deuce 6000 miles
> Screamin eagle heavy breather
> dynojet tuner
> vance and hines big radius
> hd axle cover, chrome switch cover, brake reservoir, levers, and clutch
> bracket
> swingarm mounted license plate bracket with brake light
> lowered 1.5 in
> stock seat, sundowner seat, luggage rack, sissy bar, 2 softbags
> front blinker relocater kit
> bullet style rings on blinkers and headlight
