Default Floating front end

The front end of my 08 Night Train feels weird. I get sort of a 'low front tire' feel. My air pressure is spot on 30lbs, rear is 40 just like it ought to be. While riding I watched the front wheel to see if it looked bent, it seemed to be running true as could be, same with the axle and tire. The brakes dont seem to be sticking or anything.

I recently had the tires replaced and at first though I just had to wear the new off of them, over 500 miles later and it's still kinda scary. I'm gunna take it back to the dealer who replaced my tires to have it checked out if I cant find anything in the next few days, but would rather take care of it myself if I can. Any ideas of what else to look for would be much appreciated.

Judging by the title of your thread, sounds like your head bearings are loose. That's basically what it says in the softail manual... if it feels loose then your head bearings are loose. Do a fall away check just to make sure, as per the manual.
