anyone know what the loudest and shortest 2-n-1 is with out baffles? and does anyone know anything about RB Racing's 2-n-1? If i ever went to a 2-n-1 exhaust, I want it stupid loud. I just don't care what the neighbors think. plus they shouldn't care or say anything, hell i bbq for them about every weekend for no charge. God i love my smoker.
Fatcat chrome quality far outshines the Thunderheader, though the TH sounds good. Hint: If you want a deeper sound and a nice rumble at idle, order the Fatcat with the quiet baffle. It's anything but quiet, and takes the "crisp" edge off the sound.
My Vote is for the Fatcat as well. It is an awesome pipe, and Dr Vtwin is the best place to get it, best price and awesome service.
I really do not think the fatcat it loud though. Compared to my V&H Big shot staggered this pipe is much quieter. My neighbors love the sound, since all the car alarms in the neighborhood are no longer going off when i leave for work at dark o clock. It has a bark when you are on it hard, but a very mellow idle and nice cruise tone. I have to admit that i miss that classic harley rumble that the V&H had. But then again my head doesn't feel like its going to explode after an hour going down the interstate anymore.
You really need to hear an exhaust to see if it is loud to you.
