I have tried my friend's 2007 denim black night train:
What a great ride this was, and how different from my sportster! Very smooth, amazing.
Are all softail like that?
There was a lot of wind, but I didn't feel it very much compared to the sportster where you feel you are going to fly off the bike.
The only thing I found uncomfortable (just a bit) was the dragbar, where I felt I was leaning too much forward. I'd rather have a postion a bit further back (maybe with riser and some pullback T bars, or mini apes?)
Can't wait to receive mine, supposed to be here next friday.
The drag bars to me are ok, as long as i'm not on the bike all day. It was the seat that had to go, 50 miles tops and I was squirming around trying to get my butt to wake up!

Cool man! Yeah, I got some pull back risers and some new bars which reduced the reach big time. They actually make risers and bars especially for the Trains. That Badlander seat is the hardest seat known to man! I only use it for short cruises around town.
I have a 2 up seat that was made for the Night Train. I don't think they sell it any more though.

I have a set of 8" T-bars on my train and they are pretty comfortable. The pullback is just right for me. I also have a badlander on my train. At first it bothered me to ride about 50 miles because my butt and back started hurting but now i got use to it and can ride all day.
