Thanks for the link Lounge. I have seen those already, but i was hoping for a better deal somewhere. Cant blame me for trying to save some cash. They work well though? Good quality?

And iv seen banana boards, but im not sure i like the look yet. And i dont know about cost, but i feel like extending my boards will meet my money and comfort needs.

Hey, I'm all for saving cash! I've had zero issues with em. Honestly, I wish I had done them and the goodies sooner. If you also buy the goodies, and you should... Hey, I love spending other peoples money.. Make sure you specify the black or chrome when you order. I think the default was chrome and I missed that one.

I have an 06 Heritage. I was talking with some HD friends about the same problem
you are having with wanting extra room on the floorboards. This is what they suggested
and it worked great. I went to the HD Dealership and bought a set of "Touring"
floorboards. They will fit the Softail attachment brakcets. The difference is the
the bolt attachments under the Touring floorboards set futher back, extending the
new floorboards forward about 1 1/2 inch.

I also running boards meant for a bagger on my ride with my extensions. I have the WCC bear traps. It is really nice to have 19" of real estate for your feet, although I am not that tall. It is like having mids, floorboards, and forwards all in one.

Will the touring floorboards work with a crashbar?

they may fit, but I don't personally think they would look good on that ride. It screams for forward controls
