I ave a Fulmer V2 but have not worn it in nearly a year. I like my half helmet too much. Maybe if it gets really cold I'll break it out, but i doubt it.
I can tell you I have had The Biltwell ,Fulmer V2,Daytona 3/4,and the Bell Custom 500.My favorite is the Biltwell but its not dot.Out of the other 3 DOT I like the Fulmer V2 the most. The Daytona was a total piece of $hit IMHO.They say its the smallest DOT but it looks the funniest on the head. The top is no smaller (less bobble headed look than the other two)and the sides are really thin which gives it a easter bonnett type look. The Fulmer and Bell are very close. The Bell has a little nicer liner ,weight wise they are almost identical. The Bell appears to be a little smaller when its sitting on the counter ,but that seems to get lost when you put it on your head.Looked more spaceman like than the fulmer to me.I really wanted to like it but at 120.00 sent it back to motorcycle superstore. Some others to look at are Rockhard 3/4 DOT and Loser Machine 3/4 non Dot.I have some pics I can send you if you pm me your email address.Hope this helps
Fulmer V2 - "Gold Bobber". Bought it last year, and I haven't worn another helmet since. I used to wear a half helmet all the time, but I love this 3/4 now. Cuts the wind noise, and fits well.
Sorry no good pics, but Bell Custom 500 for me. I havent worn my half helmet since I got the 3/4 and probably wont go back.
Everybody's nugget is shaped a little different, but when I was shopping I had it narrowed down to the Fulmer V2 and the Bell Custom 500. I'm military (and prefer it anyway), so DOT was a must.
