I'm thinking of buying one of the hitches where the front tire is in a cradle in the cars tow receiver and straped down. The rear tire coasts along while the bike is in neutral.
Will this hurt the transmission because the engine isn't running???
Im not sure how much those things are but for a bit more you could probably get yourself a used trailer if you have to tow the bike. Should be much better for the bike plus you could use it for other things too.
If you know any wrecker drivers check with them. Often times tow storage lots have a few trailers they are willing to part with for pretty cheap. Apparently people tend to park in residential areas and forget about them. A friend got a nice one for $50 bucks a few years ago.
