Default Trailer Bike

I am going to trailer my bike for the first time, 800 miles. I am using an enclosed, two bike, tandem wheel trailer with the mounts for the front tire. There are also plenty of tie down rings on the floor and walls. Oh, I'm taking my Ultra. What points on my bike do I use to tie the front end and rear enddown? How many tie down straps should I use? I know from recent posts that you don't use the handle bars. I am really paranoid about straps breaking, straps too tight, etc.I don't want to arrive and find I've damaged my bike. Any other tips will be appreciated.
Thanks
