I just picked up a 94 Heritage and I am looking to swap out the pipes.
Never did like the look of the exhaust with the crossover.
Anything I should be concerned with with this swap?
Depends on what kind of pipes your goin with, 2 into 1, true duals, slash cut, What? Drew was just saying when you do the swap, make sure to have it rejetted. that way it will run properly, Me pesonally, on a heritage I would go with Samson or V&H true duals. Depends on if you like the fishtail look, me I went with fishtails. I like the old school look. Depends just on what you like bro. Theres lots of options, hope this helps.
What should I expect to have and what should I be changing to?
Depends on what you want. If you dont have one already get yourself a J&P catalog. They have lots of pipes and ideas. Use them for ideas and look other places for better prices. Or this link has lots of pictures for ideas too:
