coming from sportbikes...i love the fact that i can now actually bring the old lady with me. she would never get on my yzf with me..i love the ride. the relaxed feel...the torque...i just love the bike
ive wanted a fatboy ever since i saw arnie ride one in terminator 2...i figured it was time to stop admiring other peoples bikes...and get my own.
Congratz, and your in the right place bro, people on this forum can give you advice on any mod you want too do, i have done all my own work on my fat boy learning from members here
thanks everyone. im still grinning ear to ear. its 10 minutres to midnight out here on the east coast and i am wide awake. i think i may run the bike down to 7/11 to go get a coke and a hot dog. anyone want to join me? lol
i originally wanted a fat bob after test driving a bob and a stock fat boy. the deal killer was the stock seat on the fat boy. possibly the most uncomfortable seat ive ever sat on on a motorcycle. id rather sit on my old rice rocket for an hour than the dinner plate of a stock fat boy. went into a dealership to look at the used bikes and i saw this fatboy sitting in the corner. it was literally just put out on the floor after being traded in on a street glide. it didnt even have hang tags or a price on it yet. it was raining so i didnt get to test drive it that day but i rode it friday...and put my hold/deposit on it saturday...and picked it up today. im so jazzed. i cant wait for better weather to really get some serious riding time with the old lady and some good friends and good times.
keep the rubber side down everyone and ill see you on the street.
