Any one know of a good instllation video for ape hanger bars....I looked on the web but I'm not finding much.....A visual aid would be a good thing...:icon_headba ng:
I think drew mentioned a company looking to make a video a week or so ago. Maybe he will chime in. They might of been looking to use someone bike. If your West coast contact him and maybe you can get a hook up.
As far as installation its pretty straight forward, just time consuming. And make sure you have everything before you start.
You mentioned the web but have you tried searching this forum?
like I said it would be nice to have a visual aid then there's no ?'s.....It would not be a bad idea for some one to come out with a good step by step video for installing apes or any bars for that matter...It would sell....especially for how much the dealer's want to swap out bars....bs
Thats a good video besides the traffic noise. I have a question, If im buying new chrome switchs with extra long wires is it better to splice them or plug them into these plugs with no splices? Or whats easier splice or plug? sorry for highjacking.

If they will reach Id just plug them. The more you splice the better chance for something to happen later. I know one splice doesnt raise the risk that much but it still is a risk plus youd just be adding unnecessary work..
Are the wires your getting with the switches stock colors? If so thats the best set up you could ask for. Should be super simple to connect.
And that deutsch plug or whatever its called really isnt that hard. It sounds hard but its really simple. Just take your time and yall will be ok.
