I found them in TX, NY, CA, a bunch other HD dealers still have the old models.

Yeah - When you search for 62818-08A you get a list of part numbers, none of which are 62818-08A!!

If you type in 62818-08A The first web site that has them is surdyke.com they have them for 169.99 cheaper than the catalogs list price of 199.99. Just tryin to help bro

Just send the ones you bought back and order from another HD dealer. Or off surdyke.com

OK - Problem solved!

I got the ***** and went out to have a look what the problem was... and it was that the fuel cap was too long and hitting the bottom of the spout. So...

One dremel later and BINGO! its in! It fits perfectly and I shook the crap out of it to test for leaks - NO PROBS!!!

HAPPYYYYYYY!!
