Default Average clutch life

Whats the average life of a clutch? How many miles did you have on your softail when you replaced yours? Did you replace just the plates or the whole clutch assembly?

I've got a friend with a Heritage who has over 80K. Engine was rebuilt last year, clutch is the original and still works perfectly fine.

I guess it really depends ....service, fluids, do you ride the clutch...Adjutments...solo, 2 up???All factors to consider...if it's taken care of like it should i don't see why a clutch wouldn't last 200k or more ???

I cant remember where I read this but apparently a stock HD clutch is supposed to last the lifetime of a bike as long as you dont have a huge power adder on. Pipes, intake ect is alright... and as long as you dont abuse it and slip it too much.
