Love to post a pic of my bike but dont know how, however i have an 09 fatboy, looking to put v & h bigshot staggards on,anyone running big city baffles,if so how does it sound, looking for a deeper but loud tone
I have the V&H big radius and put the BCT baffles in. I put them 6" from the end of the pipes and love the sound. Well worth the money in my opinion. Look in the classified section here or ebay for a set. I got mine for $60.00 new off ebay. Good luck.
Put them in my vh long shots and I think they sound great. Pretty loud. Only slightly quieter than no baffles. I have them attached to the hole furthest back, (2 inches from tip) but am going to try the other just to see if there is a difference in the tone.
The bike was so loud I had to remove them and go back to stock baffles. I was getting a headache on long rides. I also have the V&H Big Shot Staggards.
Had 'em. Not worth the $$ IMO. You can use a washer for the same effect. Weld it on a bolt. People have been doing it for years. Besides, in my previous application, that is all it was. Two washers in a tube for $80. A$$ still hurts.
P.S.
I have this set for sale. 1 5/8" head pipe installation. Shoot me a PM if interested.
