At heybaylor.....Yup you just cant ride with a short fender. I just trailered my bike 2000 miles in five days and unloaded it to take pictures. Just because some people dont need 12 button up harley shirts, heated gear, kitchen sink, and a geezer glide doesn't mean you can't ride alot of miles with a short fender.

Sorry off topic. If your scoot isn't slammed and you chop it, it will look like a dirt bike. The best way i found is to chop, and place it closer to the fender then drill new holes. Or buy a new fender for 150 bucks.
Speaking of if anyone has a duck bill fender for sale I'm lookin to buy one on the cheap.

I chopped my fatboy fender into a willie G skull then encountered the dirtbike phenomenon....I'm exploring options to mount the fender to the swingarm to get it close to the tire without knocking out willie's LED eyeballs every time I hit a pothole.

My intentions is to have my Indy shop chop it and drill new holes so that it is close to the tire, fill the old holes, & repaint it. Even thought of getting rid of the strut covers & just running the bare shorter black struts. Anyone do something like this? Pics?
