I have an all steel road 6 customs bracket that was very cheap and is all steel and axel mount. Wont move a bit. Just an idea. The frame with the tag mount was about 35 bucks. Just an idea if you want a different mount. Road 6 is also on ebay.
Factory plate taken abart and put back together backwards. Mounted to bold for belt cover. Since,I added two FX plate bolts that work great. Still able to get into bag and where it is mounted there is a factory rubber grommet. Looks cool as it vibrates with the bike. Saved $150.00 or more and at bike week got alot of positive comments. I forgot...the stupid plate frame in the pic is no longer there it was to mock it up when doing it.
Is that a decal or sticker where the original plate mounted or is it an emblem that uses the original holes to mount it? Where'd ya get it?
