Ape install is done.
Thanks for the props guys. bbeavers my front wheel is a 21x2.5 40 spoke, I like the look of less spokes.
Mine will place my hands a couple of inches higher than the stock bars.
What I wanted height wise. I just wish Bill had made the outside bottom width 10" as I requested both in email and on the phone with him. The 11" he made them will overhang 1/2" on both sides.
Nothing like paying for bars made to your measurements... and receiving a surprize instead.

J-Train its not that hard of a project at all, just a little tideous at times. As long as you have some basic mechanical skills, plan ahead, keep focus, basic tools, shop manual, make sure you have everything you'll need and you don't drink beer while you do the install you should be fine. Also keep inmind that if you get stuck on something you have the kicka$$ guys here on this forum to help you find your way. I just couldn't see myself paying someone $600 clams to do it for me. I just broke it down into 3 or 4 days and worked on it a few hours each day so I would get burned out or pissed off. Spend some time doing some research on here and ask as many questions as possible these guys dont mind at all. Also take pictures and take notes of each step. It's not bad at all bro plus you get to know your bike much better and have much more pride knowing you did it yourself. Its so easy even a caveman can do it.
