Thats good to know i use that stuff all the time I have not gotten around to removing the fender reflectors but when I do I was going to use the goo gone...probably not a good Idea on black paint which shows everything I will stick with WD.

 

I just pulled mine off too and wiped residue off with wd-40 and goof off.

 

I used goo gone on my springer forks and no ill affect. Looks so much cleaner w/o the reflectors.

I just installed the chrome lowers and the directions said if you want to reuse the reflectors to use dental floss and work behind the reflector until it comes off; of course I did not ruin the new chrome look by putting the reflectors on.
