The "man up" thing was a joke based on the thread on this topic that was on here a few days ago. I do carry a passenger and its usually my 11 year old daughter, and I let her ride in shorts and flip flops. Oh and I don't make her fasten her helmet either.....

Im 50/50 on it so far... it has a nice stripped down look but at the same time I think it takes away from the look of the bike... I'll have to see what it looks like with my new rear fender and post some pics.

Not meaning todetract from the thread, but what fender did you go with?
Regarding the belt guards: I think the top guard compliments the bike well. The bottom one, take it off. However, taking the top off not only adds a raw, stripped look, but adds focus and accentuates the rear rotor/pulley (my lack of accurate terminology is embarrassing). I was amazed how much bigger that rear pulley got after taking the guards off. I like that.
