I just put on my short shots and I could not be happier. The only thing is if you put them on you will lose your passenger foot boards and will have to get different passenger pegs which isn't a big deal. The pipes run right into the mounts for those footboards and there are mini foot boards that you can get. I am going to get the Fuel Pak or Power Commander to even out my numbers but can't decide on which one to get yet.
I didn't have any problems with the passenger pegs on either bike
I put the Rush slippons my Denim Lo and then put the satin shields back on. It looks sick. I put an old school A/C on(round mesh) and all I get is compliments. I wanted a D&D but I scored the Rush on E-Bay for $49.99 new, in unopened box. Glad that I'm an impulse buyer. Oh yeah, no remap and runs awesome.
Did you need to get a fuelpak or have the confuzer remapped?
Works well with the stock intake?
No fuelpack installed yet. The dealer just remapped the ECM.
The intake is also still original.
Maybe I'll upgrade to an open intake and Fuelpack later, but first some other (expensive) mods...
Sideshots are very expensive compared to short shots. I had the sideshots on my ride for a while. They were good while they lasted...
Drew
Hey drew. Just came across this post and read that you had sideshots on Your bike for awhile and was wondering if you possibly just had them laying around and were wanting to sell them.Im looking for a set for an 04 fatboy and can't find them anywhere..
Thanks mike
