Hey guys I'm looking to get a few parts chrome plated and wanted to know if any of you can recommend a shop that does quality work, has reasonable prices and decent turn around times?
yes your shop if you open one, just kidding.
Some chromers today leave off the copper process because of cost and gov regs.
Look on e-bay for chrome Rocker wheels there is a shop in Texas that does the wheels etc some guys on the forum have used them with good results.
I can't remember there name, good luck
Mark
Never used them but the name is Chrome Pros in Texas check their add
The shop is called "chromeprosplating".
I have a chromed sprocket from them and they did an excellent job. Chrome is still nice after one bike season, no chipping or any issues.
There's only one thing, it took about 2 months until delivery, but as I don't ride in winter it was O.K. for me.
They also want to get prepaid, so it was kind of a risky thing because I live in Germany.
