bro you dont need a lift just a step down and a smaller ratchet works just fine thas how mine got done. oh and a universal deep socket

Cant believe you didnt already have a lift for cleaning those white walls.

Thanks Rocky I missed that when I did my search can I ask how and where you ran the wire for the LED plate light ?

on mine (Radiantz), I wired the hot lead to the blue wire in the turn signal housing, and the wires themselves were not visible behind the bracket and the turn sig bar.

I did mine on the stand, like I have said before it's a high profanity install. If I were to do it again I would just pull the rear fender, it's easier that way in the long run.

Here is a shot of how I wired my plate, I tapped the hot lead into the old plate light bulb, ground is ground (the whole world round). you can PM me if you need help.

I'd recommend the Sears Craftsman jack. I have the red one but its too damn heavy. Spend a few extra bucks and get the aluminum one (yellow & black?). And with the big sales this weekend, you should get a great deal on it. Especially in Sears, they give stuff away in their Thanksgiving sales. Good luck.
