Default Softbrake Plate Bracket Need Help !

Any of you guys install the softbrake plate bracket without removing the rear fender? I could not get to that upper nut and my 3/8 drive deep socket is too large and you cant get a wrench on it Im assuming I need to get a 1/4 drive deep to maybe get on that nut unless there is a trick to this someone can help me with.

Assuming your bike is not lowered. You should be able to do it without removing the fender. It's a little tight. The ratchet I used is the kind that looks like a wrench and the socket goes in with a wery profile so maybe that makes a difference.

Did you put the bike on a lift so the tire lowers a bit.. You should be able to reach under there.

What of you put the bike on a lift so the rear wheel drops some?

I just did an install on my bike yesterday. It was a pain but I did not have to remove the fender. I used an adjustable angled socket wrench. This made it much easier

I removed my rear wheel and did it. Just so happens I had stuff to do back there though.
