I have always liked the Deuce because it didnt look like every Harley on the road. In 07 I wanted to buy one but didnt have the money so I settled for a new Nightrain. Always still wanted a Deuce so I bought an 07 Deuce in October. I dont know where you guys are finding 07's for $10,000, but you should buy every one of them. Around me it is next to impossible to get an 07 at that price. Earlier models with 6000 miles plus are going for 13K and up. I found my 07 in Virgina with 2600 miles for $11,500 and it had a good amount of extras. I was lucky to find it.

After seeing Fatboys, Softails all models, and all the heavy dressers. All have the same bulky looking tanks, most look fat and heavy. I thought the Deuce was a breath of fresh air, Harleys design teams had gone stagnant. They have always been slow to react to the market. The Deuce was a great all around bike, good brakes, balance shafts, easy to tour with the right seat, decent suspension for a Harley. I bought mine used in 2000, it now has 50k on it and runs great. You can ride all day and not see another one in the sea of Harleys and I like that part. In an a hour time I can go from bar bike to long haul and it does both well. All in all one of the best bikes i've owned, been riding for 40 yrs.

I bought mine new in 2005, I've had it 67 months, currently has 84,000 miles. That will change in December going to Key West (2,500) more miles of fun and enjoyment. Averaging 1,253 miles a month, not bad for a non-touring bike. Just for information purposes, no, I do not ride it to work.
