I can't imagine you doing anything else to that bike... you're getting rid of the rear fender I saw on our ride? Why?
Mine's at the painter now getting the matte black treatment. Will be following up this winter with Progressive 422's, black pullback bars (with internal wiring) and powdercoating the fork lowers.
You guys think some black paint on the tins won't look too weird on a blue frame?

What's the good word brotha? I'm changing the rear fender because those spikes i had on the fender along with the shape that my rear fender has is too much for the paint. That rear fender vibrates like you wouldn't believe man so the paint cracks and now after a year and a half the paint started to actually chip off because of all the vibration.
i'm dying to see your bike finished man. we need to ride next year.
I think you should do some skulls check out pairadicepaint.com they do some sweet work. IMO your bike wouldnt look right with scallops to me its an old school look. And for black chrome check out surfcitychrome.com thats who did my black chrome.

demon 06 thanks for the sites. gonna look them dudes up brotha. I love this forum and all you guys on it man, i've been trying to come up with a new paint scheme and thanks to you guys now i have some ideas.
Harley has a bad *** metallic black called Black Ice. With those tall apes a 2 tone split down the middle of the tank (top black/ Bottom blue) maybe following the curve of the tank a little with a retro badge and skulls ghosted in the black would look sweet. That black chrome would look good with it too along with a 2 tone on the fenders. I was gonna do something similar on mine, except champagne instead of black. It's always easier coming up with ideas for someone else's bike. LOL
