Default Fatboy fork sliders
What is the difference between the lower fork sliders from a 2007 fatboy to a 2009 fatboy? I found a nice pair of chrome lowers but the listing says only for a 2007. I can't find any information that says they will work on newer years.

The 07's have an offset front wheel, so those lowers only fit an 07.

The reason that 2007 is a one year only is the axle size, not the offset wheel. 2007 used a 1 inch axle. Harley changed to a 25mm axle in 2008. 2006 used a 3/4 inch axle

That too, but the fender boss on one side of that 07 set is bigger, so the fender will line up with the wheel.
