I just did 14" apes on my night train. I did +8 on the throttle/idles cables and brake line, nut I went +10 on my clutch cable. I originally ordered a +8 and it was just a little to snug for me when the bars were turned right. I used magnum black pearl cables with just some plain chrome bars from drag specialities. Sorry i dont have a picture uploaded yet. On a side note this was one of the best mods i ever did. Totally changed my riding. Much more comfortable.

And thank OP... had the same question... thinking of replacing stock x-bones bars with 14s of some kind... was just starting to wonder about the wiring.

The reason he got +6 is his abars are actually 13", not 14" but they are Carlini's and they run higher. I **** have advised +6 instead of plus 8 so I assume it is my fault, The Carlini's run about 2" higher than the listed height. But...I am running +8 on my 216" Carlini's without issue. Of course I do not have a clutch cable attached to the bars. So...someone buy his +6" cables please. They are perfect for 12" bars...

No worries Drew......I'll be ordering the +8's tomorrow from you guys. Im sure we will find someone who will need +6 soon.

The flyin say they are 12" but after I measured they are more like 14

I will let the brand new cables go for $250....I paid $350 for them so If I can make some money back to pay for the new +8's and help a fellow brother out I'll be happy.

Total saving $100.00
