Looks awesome bro. I almost bought one in vivid black myself but decided on the 2 tone at the last minute. That seat is different but it still looks pretty good and I think its the same shape/style, just different on the tags like you said.
Thanks for the compliments on the bike. I was pretty close to going with a Road King Classic but my dealer had just gotten this black pearl Deluxe in, and I decided to go with it. I have to give Whiplush credit for the fender bib and lay-down license plate bracket ideas. I probably would have overlooked those items if not for him and this forum. As for the pipes, yes they are V&H Bigshots. I've also done the Stage 1 and Harley Race Tuner. I was pleasantly surprised to see (and feel) the torque gains on the dyno. I thought I'd lose a bit with the Big Shots. Next up... Big Bore, custom paint and chrome fork lowers, but that's going to be a winter project. I want to take advantage of the riding season here in Minnesota as much as possible!
I think that you are smart on riding whenever you can and doing mods during the winter. That makes a lot of sense, the way that you have it planned out. Enjoy the ride.
