Default Air filter Question.

I just installed a K&N air filter in my 2008 Fxstc, will it hurt the bike or will the ECM adjust? K&N is a high flow filter?

Yes, it can adjust somewhat. If it has stock pipes, your prolly ok. If not, you may need a tuner like the HD race tuner or, Vance & Hinds fuelpac

The ECM will be able to adjust no problem. When and if you add pipes you start to push the limits of the ECM. Your fine.

Get a tuner...or a factory download but I recommend a tuner. More air flow equals a hotter, more lean running bike.

It is a K&N filter in the stock cover and it also has a 2 into 1 set of pipes that I used all summer with no problems?
