Default Fatboy Speedo/Tach problem solved

As I posted before, my new speedo would not change colors as instructions stated. Problem solved. This particular speedo although advertised in the 2011 HD book to have background color options does not. It is a type-o by HD. The 2010 book shows same speedo with same part number 74752-08 and it's description does not include background color options. My local HD shop is being very helpful and are currently in contact with HD to figure out what they can do for me. I liked the look and the combination of speed and tach on one gauge but the color option was the selling point for me. If you are looking at this part number in the 2011 book be advised that it is not as described. To be sure compare the 2010 and 2011 descriptions.

I installed the 2010 Tach with digital speedometer a few days ago. Reading the forum last night on changing the colors, I followed the instructions on the forum and all I could do was zero out my clock. Got out the directions that came with it and there is no mention of changing color. I do like the speedo/tach combo.
