I've got more time on my hands than I realized, now that I'm retired. I intended to install the HD oil cooler & saddlebag inserts while hibernating this winter, but, I got bored, & knocked those projects out over the last few days. So, I decided to investigate cruise control gadgets for the '07 Heritage, and found a good deal on a "BreakAway" cruise, or throttle lock. It looked kinda high tech, and in the short video, it looked like it worked easy & simple. So I guess that's my next winter project now. Found a "like new" used one for about half price, so If I dont' like it, I'll post it in the Classified.
New exhuast, V&H BSS or Longshots
Rear signal relocation kit for a quick detach backrest
Passenger floorboards
LED tail light
Dakota Digital Speedo/Tach? . . . .
Installed new samson exhaust, had seat and fender bib diamond stitched, and bought Screaming eagle pro tuner, Powder coated front end. end of month gettin some sinister fat daddy spokes, and hopefully be feb. goin with the shotgun
Installed apes
Swapped out exhaust
Gonna change trees
Gonna relocate coil
Maybe foot pegs
Maybe change brake rotors
Maybe fenders
Maybe get an extra job so I can do more
Wow. Let's see, since it isn't really even winter here (Dec 21) and it was 80* again today none of my projects really count.
But my bagger tail just arrived today and i will install it as soon as my oil leak is fixed. Hopefully our shop mechanic can knock it out quickly tomorrow that would mean tomorrow night. Beyond that, I don't know what is next. I have been thinking about speakers and an amp for my new bags, but the bike is already really loud. It would be nice to add some serious bass to it though.
