I have read the threads on adding a 2" spacer and shaving the brake caliper, is their no way to add a spacer between your pulley and wheel to keep the belt aligned?
My Indy did it, so I am not very aware of all the technical details, but I can assure you, nothing was as large as 2" !, and that the brake caliper has been shaved alright, and the belt is still aligned.
I thought this did not apply to the Deuce though ?.
I don't have a deuce the name was made by a friend of mine. I have a standard, 2" spacer replacing the old spacer on the axyl. I was wondering if the made a spacer for the pulley instead.
Hi,
As I said , it was my indy who did it due to the machining required and I can tell you, the belt was perfectly aligned, I am not sure what was the exact measure, but the wheel is perfectly centered now.
